Tea in the United States covers everything from a traditional Chinese or Japanese tea house to a Southern sweet-tea counter, and the fastest-growing segment is bubble tea: Taiwanese-style milk teas and fruit teas with tapioca pearls, sold by chains and independents alike with adjustable sugar and ice levels. Tea rooms serving afternoon tea with scones and sandwiches usually require a reservation, while boba shops, juice bars and smoothie shops are walk-in and quick. Kava and kombucha bars are a newer category, and loose-leaf tea stores sell blends, teaware and gifts, often with a tasting counter. Prices for a drink run similar to coffee-shop prices, with premium teas and cold-pressed juices at the high end.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 10 am–7 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around San Diego is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Came in looking for a gift and ended up grabbing a few things for myself too. The tea selection was bigger than I expected, with a lot of different flavors and blends to choose from. The staff was friendly and answered a couple questions without being pushy. I tried one of their herbal teas later that evening and it was pretty good. Prices seemed fair for the quality. The shop itself was clean and had a nice relaxed vibe. Not every blend was exactly my taste, but that's personal preference. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I'd likely come back when I need more tea.

If you love tea, all kinds of tea - herbal, black, green, oolong, this is the place to go! Friendly owner/ staff and lovely tea everywhere. My new fave is Butterflies in Paradise, oh, and Beer Butter, and Pomegranate Green, and too many others to name.

I have tried their teas and was very impressed by the quality and variety. I greatly enjoyed both their green and black teas as well as their yerba mate. It is clear that they work hard to ensure the best quality products. Their staff is also very friendly and accommodating, and I have only had the best experience whenever I interacted with them. I always felt that my requests were taken very seriously and they did their best to provide the best quality service whenever I wanted to try their teas. I cannot recommend them strongly enough.

Bugs in Tea AND No Response from management OR owners -2nd time buying tea from them and two weeks later discover bugs in tea -googled to confirm this happens with but as tea is pricey I call them to request a replacement or refund -I called at start of day and end of day, confirmed on both calls my information was correct so management/owners could reach me -I have waited two full business days and it is the end of the day on a Friday, I have heard nothing back yet Place is conveniently located and tea is good but between risks of bugs AND poor management follow up, will not be continuing to get tea at this location. Recommend Datura in North Park or Point Loma Tea as alternative. I have also attached a video that shows the bug in the tea.

I loved hanging out with my friend here. We went for lunch and we both chose the falafel sandwich which was good. We got the Yerba Matte, Matcha Cooler, and a few other teas. They teas were so wonderful! The environment is welcoming, quirky and so cute.
